Building Africa's Largest Aggregates Network — Together.

Ubizo Africa partners with mines, quarries and other sources of rock waste to turn overlooked material into a shared revenue stream, through a growing, integrated network of partner sites.

The Opportunity

From Waste to Revenue

Every mine and quarry generates rock waste, overburden and off-spec material that costs money to manage, store and eventually rehabilitate. Ubizo Africa turns that material into a revenue stream — bringing our own crushing and screening machinery, market relationships and operating expertise, so your site earns from material that would otherwise sit as a cost and a liability.

Our Model

We Partner With Mines. We Don't Mine.

Rather than acquiring and operating our own quarries, Ubizo Africa partners with established mine and quarry operators, supplying the crushing and screening machinery needed to unlock additional production capacity.

It's how we scale faster and with less capital risk than a traditional mining operator — and it's the model behind our ambition to build the largest aggregates supplier on the continent, through an integrated network of partner sites rather than by owning every one of them.

Why Partner With Ubizo?

  • Turn rock waste and overburden into revenue
  • No capital outlay for crushing and screening equipment
  • We bring the machinery, market relationships and expertise
  • Shared value model aligned to production output
  • ESG benefit through responsible material recovery
Partnership Options

Three Ways to Partner

Choose the arrangement that fits your site, your team and your commercial goals.

Machinery Partnership

We bring the crushing and screening machinery to your site — you host, we operate, and we share the value it produces. Best for sites with spare land or an idle crushing area and no interest in running the equipment yourselves.

Feedstock Supply

You supply rock waste, overburden or off-spec material from your operations — we process and market it, and you earn a fee for every ton supplied. Best for sites that would rather not host equipment or an ongoing operation at all.

Full-Service Site Management

We manage the entire secondary aggregates operation on your site, end to end, so it runs without drawing on your team's time or attention. Best for sites that want the revenue and the ESG benefit with the least operational involvement.

Actively looking

And we're not stopping there

We're actively looking for more mines, quarries and rock-waste sites to bring into the network.

One Network. Many Partners.

Every new partner site brings Ubizo Africa a step closer to a single goal: becoming the largest aggregates supplier on the continent — not by owning every mine, but by building the largest, best-run network of partner sites in the business. Umzumbe and Taung are the first two. We're actively looking for many more.
